View Larger on Chockstone Photography Only a short downhill walk from the carpark, Natures Window in Kalbarri National Park is of one of Western Australia's most popular natural attractions. So popular, in fact, that you should expect to queue up for "the shot" if you wish to pose inside the window during peak times. Alternatively, arrive before the dawn to catch those golden rays as the low angle sun streams directly your into lens. Chances are you'll have the, otherwise crowded destination, to yourself and be able to enjoy the view over the Murchison River in the first light of day. For those with sufficient fitness and plenty of water packed, a 9km return walking trail called "The Loop" can be used to head deeper into the park, following the deep winding gorge. Allow about 3 to 4 hours, and probably best to avoid any baking hot summer days. Conversely if the river is flooded by rain, the track might be closed.
