View Larger on Chockstone Photography Mt Wilson is a small village located in the beautiful blue mountains about 2 hours west of Sydney. During autumn the many gardens come alive with an amazingly rich array of colours that are particularly popular with wedding parties looking for somewhere to take photos. On this particular occasion it had been raining all day. I’d wandered around for hours in the wet before coming across this little cluster of trees. I set up under my big umbrella and shot half-heartedly through the drizzle. The afternoon turned into evening, and finally the setting sun made an appearance. It back lit the wet golden leaves, filling the grove with light, and casting intensely vivid colour across the scene.
