Driftwood
The iconic Whale Rock kept company by a huge piece of driftwood on the sand in Tidal River.
Taken on a hazy, cloudy and humid February weekend overnight trip down to The Prom, the camera only came out of the bag for 5 photos in the 24 hr stay. A bit of laziness by me, I could have lay down on the sand to explore a few different angles for this sort of shot, but... Just thought this chunk of wood was relatively rare, so far up the river - either a BIG storm had pushed it all the way up or down the river, or quite possibly had been placed there by energetic campers! Regardless, it gave an extra interest for a photo of an already well photographed location....
