Austin A40 Sports
The Austin A40 Sports car was actually a scaled down Jenson Interceptor. The aluminium body was built by Jenson. The Sports was fitted with an A40 1200cc engine with twin S.U. carburettors. This veteran car was built in 1952 & actually won ‘Best in Show’ whilst I was talking to the owner. Nice to see the delight as it was announced.
Little over 4,000 of these lovely cars were made & went on sale for £818.
