Traditional patterns
I like the patterns of traditional Turkish carpets made centuries ago and I find them refreshing because those who weave these carpets usually reflect what they felt while weaving carpet with the inspiration they received from nature and hide their own stories inside the carpet. This aspect of carpets made centuries ago seems very interesting and striking to me and I think this aspect of carpets moves them away from craft and closer to art.
