This painting was my conscious attempt at only using a limited number of colors, as well as loosening up my style a bit. Both were difficult for me because I usually get lost in detail and too many colors, so I forced myself to go in a new direction. I think I may have accomplished this.
The title I took from an Evanescence lyric from the song "My Last Breath" that I thought went well with the visual. Once of my favorites, too.
