Politically Incorrect
Here is my "solid" appaloosa gelding, Jack, referred to by one & all who know him as "The Gay Pony" as he is such a gentle, sweet, effeminate, pretty boy. On the day Jack was born, friends present at the birth sent me an SMS to work saying I had a lovely filly - did they feel silly when I arrived & pointed out he was a colt! Their defense "we didn't look, being so pretty we assumed it was a filly" LOL. Furthermore, he was named after the pirate character Jack Sparrow, having an ancestor called "Tortuga" on his maternal side (his registered name is Skyhorse Colida's Tortuga). Now I know it's horribly non-PC, but it's also made funnier by the fact that my flat is actually located in a known gay area of Melbourne, hence the reference. PLEASE don't be offended as we mean it lovingly, I happen to have a lot of wonderful gay male friends & not only do they all see the funny side to it (thank goodness!), he's been adopted as a kind of mascot.
