Mercedes Rigging
The sailing ship Mercedes is one of the newest ships in the international fleet of tall ships and especially designed for day and evening cruises under sail. Because of her impressive rigging of a brig (two masts totally square rigged) With an overall length of 50m she was built in the Netherlands in 1958 as an ocean going fishing vessel...the ship was redesigned in 2005. The ship has been tied up at the Eisenhower Pier, Bangor, N. Ireland, a great opportunity not to be missed...especially with such impressive rigging. I used my Canon EOS 550D with a 17-40mm lens.
