Lighthouse - Point Reyes California
The Point Reyes Lighthouse (Point Reyes, CA, USA) stands against high winds off the Pacific Ocean, warding off ships from the dark of night night. This HDR image was created from 5 aperture-bracketed photos using a Nikon D700 with a 70-300mm zoom lens. The lighthouse was closed for the day and the only way I could get a decent shot was from afar with a zoom length, leaning over the top of a fence. Aperture was used to apply minor modifications to each image, and Photomatix was then used to tone map the resulting HDR image.
