210mm x 260mm Collage on card 2014 Recently, I was looking at the images I had uploaded to Instagram , and seeing them there on that page all together, the one thing that really struck me was how colourful my work has become. That wasn't always the case. For quite a number of years my collage works were made using a pretty limited colour palette, usually red, black and white. Occasionally some different colours, but never very many in one single work. Not that I thought about it much, but I guess it was a case that colour tended to complicate things for me, and distract from the aesthetic I was trying to work towards. This piece, Internet Chatter, is if nothing else a celebration of colour. It is bright and vibrant and definitely colourful. Certainly not something that I would have made 5 or 10 years ago
