Hedwig Eva Maria Kiesler, known as Hedy Lamarr, was an Austrian film actress and inventor whose great contribution to society was related to the field of wireless communications. It was as an actress, considered as "the most beautiful woman in Europe" by the director Max Reinhardt, the first to simulate an orgasm in cinema (Extasis, 1933) and co-author of the technology on which modern wifi is based.
