Much to our shock they had answered the letter we left in the time capsule.
It appeared in a brilliant flash of light, on the steps of the capitol
Gleaming copper, intricately etched, and unlike anything ever seen.
The focal point was a square beacon that pulsed soft blue
We approached it apprehensively while it made a mechanical purring sound.
It began to open, unraveling itself.
Who knew what wonder...or horror it was about to unleash...
