Border Collie
This is Ranger my own Border Collie. Ranger came from a rehoming centre at the age of 13 months having had 2 previous owners. Both Ranger and I went to the local agricultural college to become a shepherd and working sheepdog. At age 5 Ranger suddenly went lame whilst working sheep on my friends farm and after a visit to the vet it was found that Ranger had arthritis and hip dysplacia and had to be retired from working with the sheep. Ranger is now doing well although at times a bit bored as a retired sheep dog but still has a good quality of life and at the age of 9 & half years old still has a lot left in him. He has become my model for the camera as he just loves to pose. I will be uploading other photos of Ranger as and when I get them finally edited.
