Backyard Colors
Location: Geauga County, Ohio
At this time of year, I feel like the luckiest person to be living where I am living. First off, I live in Northeast Ohio where our Autumns colors are just absolutely spectacular.
Secondly, my house sits right on the fringe of hundreds of acres of deciduous forest. Looking out any window on the back of my house, you feel like you are in the middle of the forest. It is so incredibly awesome :-)
So, here is a picture of the deck on the back of my house that gives you a pretty good idea as to the vibrancy of the colors around here.
Sadly, these colors have a very short lifespan before they all begin to turn brown and fall off the trees completely.
Here is an interesting fact about Fall.
Only 10% of the world lives in a climate where there is a "Fall" season to experience the change of color in the foliage. So for that reason alone... I am an incredibly lucky person to be living where I am :-)
