Adana-R
The Adana-R and Jacky-R are both fishing boats that used to be moored in Gig Harbor. They are now either up in Alaska or at the bottom of the sea--no one here in the Harbor knows for sure. The grandson of the owner came into my gallery asking me if I had an image of the Adana-R and luckily I had taken this shot sometime in the mid 1980s. His request has given me a goal to capture what is left of our fishing and boat building heritage before it is all gone.
