How I made this:
* I changed my iPad display to “greyscale”, so I couldn’t see what colors I was using!
* Used a reference and shaded in with what I thought were darks, midtones and lights, then added a layer of curvy line art to accent the model’s form
* Layered the original picture underneath my painting layer, so wherever I didn’t manage to add color, the original pic shone through
* Then I felt spontaneous and duplicated + separated all of the layers to see how they look isolated
* Changed back my iPad’s display and somehow ended up with Earth-y colors ?
