/dev/null
It looks like a black hole, and it actually is. In computer programming the /dev/null/ device is a special write-only file for disposing of unwanted data. The generated stream of data is redirected to that file, reported as written successfully, but cannot be retrieved. A great gift for a computer programmer, a software engineer, and anyone with a special knowledge to appreciate that inside joke. It's nice to have your very own /dev/null so you can redirect there all the complaints and people who bother you.
