Dysfunction
Dysfunction is an unsettling, uncomfortable piece inspired by the everyday goings on of our current time period. Our every move is being watched by our peers, community, and our inner critic and we have to be vigilant with our morals. Every day is a struggle with executive dysfunction and exhaustion from dealing with grief, exasperation, frustration, and the stress of perfection under pressure when there's no physical way to be perfect. Life is difficult in this pandemic time. It's hard to function right now and everything feels wrong, but we will make it through to the other side.
Dysfunction was made over the course of about seven hours with the use of Copic markers, Micron liners, and a white Gelly Roll pen. It was created on 9x12 mix media paper.
