A Dachshund’s Wish
Products for the young reader inspired by our children's books from the Traitor Dachshund imprint of Minted Prose! Meet Paws from A Dachshund’s Wish! In this chapter book, Paws, an endearing, fun-loving dachshund puppy, embarks on a quest to become a real boy. While on his quest to fulfill his dream, Paws discovers the meaning of friendship, loyalty, and self-realization—and finds the inner strength to make a dream come true. Ji Yu created the illustration of Paws. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Rhode Island School of Design and a Master of Fine Arts degree from Hunter College in New York City. Ji studied in Paris and Rome. A Dachshund’s Wish is the first book she has illustrated. In developing the pencil and watercolor drawings for this book, Yu revisited her own childhood and tried to see the story through the eyes of a little girl. “I used to look at all the pictures before I read anything, and I tried to imagine what I’d like to see if I read this story as a child.” BUY A DACHSHUND’S WISH: http://amzn.to/2qbWpUR ABOUT THE BOOK: http://bit.ly/2jCYkQi
