Painting of Rei Ayanami from Neon Genesis Evangelion, done especially for one of my best friend's birthday (Rei is his favourite anime character). I've had this waiting to be uploaded since mid-August (only got 'round to uploading it now) as I didn't want to spoil the surprise! I drew the lineart traditionally on A3 paper, scanned it and coloured it roughly in Painter IX.5 before taking it into Photoshop for touching up, details and colour adjustments.
