**Trans** is part of a growing typography collection inspired by a familiar piece of clothing that featured bold collegiate lettering. Seeing that iconic style sparked the idea of replacing the original word with words that represent members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
After creating pieces for **Gay** and **Lesbian**, it felt important to continue the collection with **Trans**, ensuring the same creative approach and visual identity was extended rather than focusing on only one or two identities.
The design embraces simplicity, allowing a single word to speak for itself. Familiar typography is reimagined as a statement of visibility, identity and belonging.
