The Ranch
View from the hill on my ranch. This is my happy place! Truly a POSITIVE SPACE. This is where I want to establish an art studio retreat to share with others who need some inspiration and quiet, introspective time to explore and create. This is a mixed media monoprint piece done in acrylics and inks, then photographed and digitally fine-tuned. I like to use technology and incorporate it into my art sometimes just a little bit so that I don’t get left behind.
Besides, there is no AI tool or software that will ever exist that could make anything more beautiful than a real life sunrise over that Mesa.
In keeping with my usual theme of trying to incorporating something I gathered while out enjoying nature into my art, I ground some little sheets of natural Mica that I found rockhounding with my mortar and pestle to mix into the paint add some shimmer.
