TREVOSE RUST
T R E V O S E - R U S T ? Trevose Head ? A long exposure shot at Trevose Head, near Padstow... I was drawn to the warm rust-coloured seams in the rock and "golden hour" tones of the sky against the cool blues in the scene - which I accentuated with colour grading in Adobe RAW. The sea was very calm. Maybe a little too calm. I exposed this frame over 80 seconds which flattened the sea to give a contrasting texture to the rocks. If the sea was a little rougher, there may have been more patterns created by the white-water which I'd have preferred. Canon 6D MkII | 24-105mm lens at 24mm | ƒ/8 | 80 sec | ISO 100 | Tripod | 10 stop ND & 2 Stop soft grad filters | Adobe RAW & Photoshop | Taken at Trevose Head on 03-06-2022 Copyright Andrew Hocking 2022 www.hocking-photography.co.uk Contact me or head over to my website for prints
