Taking inspiration from the building blocks of the British company Kiddicraft, the Olle Kirk family Adam´s marketed their own plastic bricks (Llego Mürsten) from 1949, with bright colors inspired by Piet Mondrian's paintings. The system was committed to creativity of the child, so the first instruction manuals were not included.
