Morning Star
Another experiment with shading and colours, here we see an early morning scene of a London-bound GNER Class 373 White Rose set kicking up an overnight dusting.
Taking a bit of artistic license, I've chosen to depict this particular 373 set passing through the snow-capped pit heaps of Chester-le-Street in County Durham, a little further north than the White Rose patterns permitted due to loading gauge constraints on the King Edward Bridge in Newcastle.
Thankfully, the flexibility of art allows for many what-if scenarios to be depicted. :)
