Here's a photo I took back at the beginning of the first lock down. Yep... that long ago! I originally processed and posted it in colour with warm sepia tones pretty true to the conditions.
This monochrome version further simplifies the scene for a minimal high-key look. In the conversion, I lost the sun glowing through the mist which was unfortunate. But the glistening ripples under the hull of the boat and the sunlight shining through the windows of the distant boats remain - which hints at the magical atmosphere of that spring morning.
