Long Way Down
For this one, I established the descending roadway first, using pale gray washes to create depth, then worked outward into the warm façades and leafy trees. The little vehicles were painted individually but kept loose enough to belong to the larger rhythm of the street. It is not a postcard view, and that is exactly why I like it.
