Graffiti Style In the Heights
I have been a fan of the musical since high school and loved the movie. Being Puerto Rican/Nuyorican the songs in the musical have always hit home for me.
One of my favorite numbers is Carnaval del Barrio which is an ensemble of all the Spanish speaking community of Washington Heights. I’m a fan of graffiti artwork since I was a kid and was inspired to do my own take on the title with a bit of graffiti art to it.
This design is great on T-Shirts, mugs, bags, coasters and pillows.
