Crested Myna Color Design
The Crested Myna (Acridotheres cristatellus) is a medium-sized starling native to southeastern China and parts of Southeast Asia, and has also been introduced to regions such as Taiwan and the Pacific Northwest. Recognizable by its glossy black plumage, white wing patches, and small crest on the head, this bird is highly adaptable and commonly found in urban and agricultural areas. Crested Mynas are omnivorous, feeding on insects, fruits, seeds, and human food scraps, and are known to forage in groups. Highly social and often found in pairs or flocks, they nest in cavities in buildings, trees, and other structures, exhibiting great adaptability to human-altered environments.
