Catching Some Rays
One of the great things I miss about seeing the old Twin Towers was the way their facades changed colour throughout the day. I was old enough to remember when those buildings were new and they got a lot of flak for being too brash and overwhelming in their size and scale. The reality was that the Twin Towers had a very subtle beauty, one you could only appreciate when you stared at them long enough. I hope this little painting captures that particular part of them.
