View Larger on Chockstone Photography Built in 1883 Sale's Swing Bridge was designed to be movable. It would open several times a day to allow passage of steamers heading to and from Melbourne. Spanning the Latrobe River at its junction with the Thomson River, it's nice place to stop, get off the highway and let the kids run around a bit. Shot here at dawn, straight into blazing golden light, it shows off some of its old-world charm.
