View Larger on Chockstone Photography The Glass House Mountains rise abruptly from the otherwise flat countryside of Queensland's "Sunshine Coast". The tallest is Mount Beerwah at 556m, but my favourite is Mount Tibrogargan on which I've done a little rock climbing in my younger days. Although it's on private property, this "lone tree with a grand view" can easily be photographed from the road, and is something of a tourist attraction. I'm told the land owner can be approached for access permission. Indeed whilst I waited a couple had some nice wedding photos taken. I spent the whole day here from sunrise until sunset, watching the light play across the landscape. I came away with many versions of this scene, but this one seems to best capture the mood of the place.
