View Larger on Chockstone Photography The Natural Bridge is a rock arch over Cave Creek which forms part of the Nerang River inside Springbrook National Park, an hour or so south of Brisbane. The cave is home to a colony of glow worms and is quite the popular tourist attraction. Despite swimming being prohibited there were several young adventurers game for dip upon my visit, some even jumping through the hole into the cooling waters below. This, combined with the enormous range of light and shade, proved for a challenging shot. I spent many hours waiting for the right moment. I wanted the sun to fill up the cave without overwhelming the falls with bright highlights. Springbrook National Park contains several falls worth visiting, each with marked trails and picnic areas. Well recommended for a family outing.
