View Larger on Chockstone Photography Deep in the Otways National Park I stood in the rain and waited while the morning sun forced it's way through a rising fog and gum trees glistened with moisture. With the camera tripod mounted and pre-focused, it was merely a waiting game. The rain would cease for a few moments, I'd uncover the camera, fire a couple of shots, then cover it once-more. The fog would swirl in and out and the weak light suddenly shine bright before vanishing behind a cloud. Landscapes are rarely static. After a couple of hours frozen to the one spot I was getting pretty damp and cold, but left confident I'd captured the best combination of light and fog.
