View Larger on Chockstone Photography Access to Dimmicks Lookout is relatively easy. About an hour of rough and winding dirt road driving into Victoria’s beautiful Alpine National Park will deposit you at this spectacular view. Just follow Tamboritha Road, then Howitt Road out of Licola. In the region are also several high-country huts, waterfalls and great walks that are family friendly, including camping areas with facilities. Note, however that in early winter or even late Autumn the road can be covered with snow and not cleared. There are also a great many blind corners, and a lot of enthusiastic off-road drivers, so please be careful.
