View Larger on Chockstone Photography Admirals Arch is rock bridge near the Cape du Couedic Lighthouse on Kangaroo Island. The feature was once a cave and some interesting stalactites still hang from its ceiling. At sunset the whole structure is deeply back-lit, but also quite dramatic. A New Zealand fur seal colony has established itself under the arch, making this location an ideal place for watching wildlife. For anyone printing is image large enough, you'll see some seals here and there, sleeping in the last of the light.
