View Larger on Chockstone Photography Rollasons Falls is a delightful cascade which resides within the Mount Buffalo National Park in Victoria. It can be accessed via a short 2.6km walk which, whilst steep, is none-the-less relatively easy going. The upper trail leads to the top of the falls, but the lower trail brings the walker to the base of the falls and the lovely green pool. Beware the rocks beside this splendid little oasis, there is an alarmingly drop from one point which could be quite dangerous. Having explored and photographed Mount Buffalo over several decades I can certainly vouch for its natural beauty. If this is your first trip, Rollasons Falls is about half-way up the mountain and makes for a great place to stretch your legs and break up the long winding drive. There is also a picnic area beside the carpark offering toilets which is always handy.
