Check out my latest video to see my exact set up and process youtube:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VXVt6AFq9gQ My first attempt at water drop photography as part of my self set lockdown challenges to try out new and creative photography options. Having spent quite a while working on the basics I then added some food colouring, two different colours, blue in the bowl and red in the 'dropper'. I didn't really get the kind of images that I had hoped for. I did get some more impressive looking 'splashes'. I didn't really feel they had the definition and clarity to work. There was, however, something about this one that appealed to me, especially the way the drip is actually separated from the water in the bowl but the water looks like it is opening to receive it.
