Delicate Drolleries is a whimsical, experimental seamless pattern inspired by the absurd humor of medieval manuscript marginalia. Hand-illustrated on iPad using Procreate, this design features a cast of delightfully ridiculous drolleries: half-lion-half-knights and half-fish-half-knights; rabbits riding lions into battle like noble steeds - harp slung over their shoulder, sword in hand; and owls with hands for feet who insist on wearing hats.
