Violet Core
Deep maroon and violet occupy the central mass of this richly layered painting, ringed by vivid blue, orange, red and gold. Small white crystalline blooms scatter across the surface like stars or sparks caught mid-flight. The contrast between the deep interior and the electric periphery gives the work an extraordinary sense of depth. Original abstract watercolour on paper by Delhi-based artist Rishabh Kapoor.
