Vastity
“Vastity” is an older word, and in Latin it means “vastness” and “immensity.” I had this image in my mind, but the feeling I based it off of as I was drawing was isolation. When I finished the piece, “isolation” didn’t really fit it, but immediately the word “vastity” did. I feel that captures the essence of what I had in mind here and what was produced.
