Tree Ferns Darwin

Tree ferns (Cyathea medullaris) - growing on the first 10 acre property my parents bought in the Far North of NZ. These ferns can grow up to 45' tall, at which point one loses sight of them among the trees, unless viewing from a distance, or from above. So it's a real treat to see them at this age, standing alone in all their lush glory.
In the background is a backdrop of a Gum tree forest, which lent the property a great feeling of private mystery.
