Toothpick Fusion Abstract Pattern
There's nothing like being stuck at home and participating in online photography challenges to get the creative juices flowing. Who knew that cleaning out your kitchen cabinets could lead to so much fun?
This abstract was created with a black piece of cloth and a jar of toothpicks. It may sound easy, but it's harder than you would think to get something worth keeping. I won't share the total number of photos I made that day (hint: lots!). Only a few made the cut. This one immediately called to me that it wanted to become a symmetrical starburst-like pattern, so I complied with some post-processing computer work.
