Tlingit Elements
The concept of this drawing was inspired by the unified power of all creation, the Sun, the Moon and the 5 elements of nature which unifies land, sea, and every breathing thing.
The Honeycomb signifies the close bond and connection we have as humans across the globe, not only to each other, but to everything God created. Peace and unity is the sweet nectar of life.
The five elements of nature: wood, water, fire, precious metal and earth are all interlaced to the survival of humankind.
This symbiotic relationship between land, animal and sea life connects us as human beings.
And where would we be without the power of the sun and the light from the moon?
The tides of life are constantly changing with the passing of each generation.
As we work “together” to protect the earth we develop this connection which enables us to “live in balance” and is only achieved when we love and respect the creator and everything God Created including one another.
