The Tree
This 150-plus-year-old tree fell victim to the heat of the flames of the Erskine Creek Fire. We were saddened by its loss of this noble, huge old oak. The branches to the right were cut from the tree while they were burning to try to put out the fire.
In the background, my mustang mare Maggie is not impressed with the snow.
