Temporal
My personal favorite bone for both unique shape, connectivity, and housing the 8th cranial nerve (home of balance). The temporal bone is a bladed bone capping the arch of our domes/ craniums. It spans the neuro and viscero cranium portions of the skull, as well as, housing the TMJ.
Other than connecting to pretty much every line of fascia in the body, I found it most interesting from the superior view.
The bone takes on the shape of a conch, a spiral! This makes sense for the sense of hearing, and channeling sound into our brain.
