Take It to Heart
A mixed media piece, this artwork was made with Prismacolor Colored Pencils, Crayola Colored Pencils (that are no longer sold), and Adobe Photoshop CS6 Extended. I was inspired by the phrase, "Take it to Heart" for this piece because this is a LITERAL take on this phrase. By the way, those are NAILS piercing the woman's heart and that is her RIBCAGE poking out so it looks like teeth.
