Syro Commandments
In 2014, around the launch of his Syro album, Richard D James engaged in a lengthy surreal interview named Syrobonkers, which featured numerous tales of his children making music, the gear he's using, and the bit that's stuck with me most, a parting message for fans. This took the form of 6 instructions, which for hardcore AFX devotees could be seen as their commandments being given to them. :D I've actually had them stuck to my fridge for the last couple of years and have them in my thoughts almost everyday, and have wanted to make something a bit more permanent out of them for a while, as the advice here is pretty timeless really, and applies to anyone with an artistic mindset, whether you're hoping to crank out some aphex acid or not.
