Spring Water
Spring Water was painted from a photograph of a fresh water spring that came bubbling up through the pebbles. It made little ripples on the surface of the water. The colors were selected to add a joyful feel to the painting. I love watercolor! I I find that the flowing lets me paint with the Universe more. I give up control and let forms and shapes emerge, beautiful blendings of color that you can't get with any other medium. I love the dreamy shapes and hints of form that letting go into the fluidity of watercolor gives me.
