Spring Joy
I was inspired to create a hummingbird but I decided I wanted something local so I decided to paint an Eastern Spinebill which is a species of Australian Honeyeaters. This beautiful small bird hovers in the same way as a hummingbird as it feeds.
This energetic little birds bring with them a sense of playfulness and joy. This painting titled 'Spring Joy' is about the energy of welcoming in Spring growth and renewal.
This small mixed media art piece is painted on A3 300 gsm watercolour paper.
